Just A Little Bit Of Rain...

The rain was pretty mean this morning. So bad, that many people were late to work because traffic was so slow. Slow drivers with their flashers on and having to ford a few small 'rivers' that were once streets made the drive to work a little more interesting than usual. That and all of the tornado warnings coming in for our area had us checking the skies for signs of trouble.


This long stretch of rain-soaked road was at about a 2-foot depth at the edges in some points. Since the hod-rod stationwagon is kind of low slung, we had to ride the centerline where the depth is much lower.


A look back in the mirror at what we are leaving behind. It looks more like we are in a boat, tooling along the shoreline of a lake...
