She Did It!

Luann graduated today, getting her Associate's in Science degree in Computer-Related Crime Investigation, and she graduated with honors at the Magna Cum Laude level. Too cool! We took a bunch of pictures and I'll be putting up some of them, to include the celebration luncheon we had with the Nemeths and the Luann's mom, then the celebration dinner at the Thai restaurant we had reviewed earlier.

We were well positioned for the ceremony. Only the video camera was in the way.

Yeah, we're really here...

Awww, isn't that special?

But seriously, here she is standing in line, waiting for her seating assignment (meanwhile, she is texting me like crazy).

Here is a sample of what we were texting about. Yes, she made Magna Cum Laude.

See, it was in the program!

Well, after marching down the field, it's time to be seated. She was in the aisle, which made it easier to find her.

After a while, the graduates were instucted to move thier tassels from the right side of their hat (it's called a mortarboard) to the left side of the hat. Ok, that's done now.

Next, it was time to go up to the stage and collect her 'prize'.

Wow, look at that smile! I told Katrina that Luann is beaming some much, it's like she is giving us the 'Moon Face'.

Ok, getting closer now. Just need to make it up the stairwell and across the stage...

Friends and family are waiting to see if she creates a pratfall and trips while getting her degree...

Will ya look at that? It all came out picture perfect!

And there you have it, my wife has her degree!
She did it!

After the ceremony, we went to the Conch Republic restaurant to have lunch with Bradley and his mother.

Here we are, waiting to be seated.

At some point, Katrina decided to grab Bradley and smooch him.

After I made a joke about it, Bradley started laughing, but apparently, Katrina didn't find it to be all that funny... Hah!

It was nice to be out on this fine day.

Towards dinner, we met up with Luann's friends in order to celebrate Luann's graduation at out favorite Thai restaurant, Thai Terrace. We even got a chance to visit with 'Aunt Jeff' one more time before he heads over to Germany with his friends. Nothing like a group shot to end the day.

Hugs!

Ok, it's time to order...

Looks like Luann is enjoying her gifts!

You know, dinner is always great here. Great food, great friends, great fun. Wish every day could be as special as today was...
