Thanks For The Gift, Charlie!

I'm extremely late in putting this up here, but Charlie was nice enough to wrangle a 10-foot piece of 2 x 3 inch thick-wall tubing from Magic Tilt trailers. He had to stop by and pick up some boat trailers they made to take back to Jacksonville for galvanizing, so he asked them if they had a piece laying around for the tongue extension I need to make for my trailer. One of the guys rummaged around and came up with this beauty.

Charlie strapped it down on his semi and brought it home to Jacksonville, with the plan to bring it to Tampa on his next visit. Well, Charlie has a picture on his blog site, showing how he had strapped the tube onto the top of the Dodge Caravan he has, anticipating that he could load it onto his semi when it was time for him to head back down to Tampa. He even used the black straps we had tied down the Suzuki with when he brought the bike home in his van, to tie the tube down on his flatbed for the return trip back to Tampa.

Obviously, Charlie-the-Champ got it done for us and even made a front porch delivery. Thanks buddy, I really appreciate it. I'm hoping to have enough time to get some work done on the trailer tongue this weekend.
