Bar Mitzvah For Elijah

A first for us, we were invited to a Bar Mitzvah for a friend's son. It turned out to be a fine experience for us and we learned many things about this Jewish rite of passage.

Elijah is the son of fellow geocacher, Rainbowgirlz and she invited us to be in attendance at this very important time for their family.



Since it would have been extremely inappropriate to take pictures at the Bar Mitzvah, here is a picture of Elijah when he went geocaching with us last March.

We are very honored to have been invited as their guests. The service was simply amazing and the congregation was very kind to those of us not of the Jewish faith (and so was the gentleman seated behind Luann whom was very nice to pick up her yarmulke after she dropped it twice). Simply stated, you could not ask for more, as the Bar Mitzvah was perfect in every way.

We wish Elijah good health, wealth and wisdom as he continues his journey into Jewish manhood.
