It Was Kind Of A Black Thursday Today...

The problems with the economy have finally caught up with us at work and unfortunately, 36 of our employees had to be laid off. Some came as no surprise, while others left a few of us a bit stunned. I would be a fool to make a comment as to why or why not a person or persons should have been let go, since I'm not a part of the decision-making process. I feel certain though, that were I to reflect upon the choices, there are individual circumstances in each case that mitigated the selections that had to be made.
