Preparing For Thanksgiving

We did a little bit of work at Karen's place in order to get ready for the Thanksgiving get-together at her house this year. Details coming soon.

We even drove the van into the back yard to bring the bags of cement closer. Yeah, we were using 'ole Horton as a truck...

Aunt Martha & Uncle Frank were here too, doing all kinds of things.

Even Katrina and Karen were working hard. Here they are, digging out a hole for one of the bases that the arbor will be standing on (more on what an 'arbor' looks like later).

Yeah, nothing like getting 'Down & Dirty' for your family...

Ok, so we had more than a few bags in the van.

And each bag of cement was dumped in the wheelbarrow and mixed by hand before pouring it into the holes.

Here's the first one finished off and leveled. There's only 3 more to go.
