Katrina Went Bowling, And Had A Ball...

...a bowling ball, that is. Here are some pictures of Katrina's new bag and ball.

What happened is that we were working on the plans for Melissa's upcoming birthday and decided to call Bradley's older brother, Jimmy, about having the birthday party at the the bowling alley where he works. Well, we made an appointment to drop by this Sunday afternoon and set everything up. While we were there, Jimmy came up with the idea of putting together a 'bowling package' consisting of a custom-drilled ball, an embroidered towel and a bag to carry it all in.

So, in order to get Melissa's sizing and such, Katrina brought her back to the bowling alley to bowl a couple of games and Jimmy not only put together a package for Melissa, he 'set up' Katrina too. And they both got their bowling balls engraved with their names (well kinda)

And of course, Katrina just had to get one with a skull and crossbones on it... It was kind of neat because Jimmy's wife Jody, called us to tell us that Katrina and Melissa loved their new acquisitions so much that every time the balls came back in the ball return, they held them in their laps until it was their turn to bowl. I hope they get enough practice for the weekend...
